personality
Clyde is a rather calm dragon who never acts without thinking about how his actions would affect others. He tries his best to help dragons whenever he can, especially if they have dragonets. He never wants dragonets to have no parents, seeing as he had none. Suffering makes him sick, and arguing just stresses him out. He is a pacifist through and through, with no space in his heart for violence of any kind. He was speculated about as a dragonet, because all of his good friends were mostly of other tribes. He was seen as strange, but honestly doesn’t mind the title. Overall he is a very chill dragon who just wants to help others.
Taking inventory of his life
Seeing snapshots chronologically in line
Something told him he should look around and tidy up
He collected many things but never quite enough
early life
Clyde hatched in the Rainforest, just after the NightWings moved in under Glory’s rule. He hatched completely alone, in a secluded section of the forest. Clyde learned how to fend for himself quickly, learning to fly faster than most. He hated being alone, and was convinced that his shadow was stalking him. When he turned two, he finally found the Rain/Night village, and found other dragons for the first time. He didn’t know how to speak, so it was hard for him to integrate into dragon society. Eventually he started going to Jade Mountain Academy, and began his intrest in healing.
Tried looking at it from a new perspective
Flat on his back but he still heard the directive
Orders from that corner where that shadow always lived
Never asked permissions he just hopes that they forgive
adolescence
Clyde started taking advanced medicinal classes at Jade Mountain as soon as he could, pouring himself into his studies and leaving no time for other dragons. He hardly had any friends, and frankly didn’t mind. Before he graduated he met one of his best friends to this day, Monty. Monty and Clyde bonded over their shared love for healing. The two graduated a few months later, making them officially adults.
I don't want to go like this
At least let me clean my room
I don't want to leave like this
adulthood
Clyde traveled around the continent for a year after his graduation, visiting the SkyWing kingdom, SandWing Kingdom, and IceWing Kingdom as an exotic healer. He always brought Monty with him, and the two worked diligently to try and cure illnesses and create different vaccines for diseases. Clyde is celebrated in multiple towns and kingdoms for saving the lives of many war-injured dragons and sick dragonets. He spends his days now in the Rainforest mainly with his friends, trying to live his best life possible.
Cause the last thing I want to do is
Make my people make decisions
Wondering what to do, oh
Should they keep it on display
Or redecorate?
description
Clyde is a lithe RainWing with an unusual scale pattern. His main scales are bright orange, and he has dotted teal and turquoise scales around his neck and limbs. His horns are a heathery brown color, and his eyes are a quiet pink color—“the color of love” Monty branded it, since he’s loved by many. He is much taller than the average dragon, with big wings that snag in treetops if he is not paying attention. He has a scar on his tail and a pouch around his neck that holds books, bandages, and any medical equipment he might need.
Blankets over mirrors, she tends to like it
She's not afraid of her reflection
But of what she might see behind it
She had plans to change her name
Just not the traditional way
Monty is Clyde’s best friend, and the two are very close. They met at Jade Mountain Academy, though they were in different winglets. Clyde was in the Gold winglet, and Monty was in the Obsidian winglet. Luckily the two had similar schedules, and so their bond just grew tighter. They’re best friends to this day.
Haunted by a couple big mistakes
She covers all the dents with the way she decorates
Then one night she got cold with no blankets on her bed
So she ripped them off the mirror, stepped back and she said
Sully was another one of Clyde’s close friends. Sully was a Rain-Sea hybrid, giving them a tie to one another through the RainWing village. They went through thick and thin together until one day Sully abruptly passed away from a heart attack when he was only nine DY.

I don't want to leave like this
if it's too big, it scrolls, like this one
Warf and Clyde didn’t get to know each other very well, but the RainWings met each other a few times briefly during business exchanges. They mail letters occasionally, and consider themselves friends.

Clyde sees Echu as a sort of daughter, and is very protective of her. They mail letters back and forth, and he is very exited for her to come home during the winter solstice holiday.
