This is an AU of a Pantala where Animus magic worked, and Turtle grew more islands so the continents were connected. Wasp was killed by Blue's flamesilk, And Blue, Luna and Swordtail reunited. Jewel ascended to the throne, and Wasp hive turned to Sundew Hive. The Othermind was destroyed, and for a few years, there was peace. Sundew and Mangrove started regrowing trees from a few seeds that had been hidden away. Soon, a fifth of Pantala was alive with trees again. But a group of Elites, leaded by a Pantalan tribes tribrid, has appeared in the shadows. They have kidnapped several dragons from all tribes , who had weird oddities. They had started experimenting with them, and a few fear that the peace may be ending...
Chapter 1: Adonis's POV[]
I was out of breath. I knew I couldn't run forever. I could hear the talons of the guards as they chased me through the forest. I heard the head hunter, Keirnan, shout orders at the other guards. I spotted a tree that looked like likely camo, and flew up to it. This proved to be an instant mistake. Keirnan spotted me right away, and blasted a firebreath straight onto my left underwing. I screamed as i felt immense pain, and fell to the ground with a thud. With no other choice left, I used my last card. I lifted my tail and Keirnan stopped in his tracks. He knew how dangerous my stinger was.
"Adonis, don't you dare-" Keirnan started, but a member of his team stumbled into him from behind, and I sprayed the substance at both of them. Keirnan lunged behind the other dragon, a SeaWing. As the substance reached them, the dragon screamed in pain. I knew their insides were turning to stone. Another Hunter, Eagle, stopped dead in the edge of the clearing. She stared in grim fascination as the victim's scales went rock-hard and greyish. A few moments later, the victim was no more than a statue in battle position.

"GET HER! DON'T LET HER ESCAPE!" Shrieked Keirnan. 3 dragons burst out of the bushes, aiming their weapons straight at me. I stood up and pointed my tail at them. It didn't work. They knew I could only fire the liquid a few times a day. Eagle was one of them. They grabbed me and put chains on my shakles. I'm bloody and bruised all over but they don't care. I cant escape because of my injured, or burnt, wing. I could only struggle, in hopes of injuring them enough to make a run for it. Of course, it didn't work. They dragged me back, and during the trip i broke my snout and a back leg. I was one of the most prized possessions of Stickbug, the leader. I was one of the only Premium quality dragons they had (Haha, The promied neverland ref). They were experimenting with dragons, for some reason. My best and only lab friend, Koi, said it was to raise an army to overthrow all the governments. But of course, who would believe a 2 year-old dragonet who had hatched in the lab and was "loyal" to Stickbug? No-one but me. Koi had the ability to make her SeaWing glow scales change colour, and make her frill glow. She was a SeaWing-RainWing, after all. She was Stickbugs best spy, with her innocent appearence, hidden stength and half-camo power, she was basically undetectaBLE. Plus, she had a skyfire embedded on her right ear. So ha, mindreaders. WIP
