Mosquito is a female HiveWing and is the half-sister of Vespid and BeetleGrub. Her current whereabouts are unknown, and she was last seen in Vinegaroon Hive, before BeetleGrub moved to Jewel Hive.
Description[]
Mosquito has a dark brown body, only 2 shades lighter than black. Her tail has a pitch void gradient to black on her tail. Her wings are striped with very pastel brown swaths on her wingtips, while the wings themselves are a bright white color, with her legs having creamy white spots on her legs. Her undereyes are streaked with a very slightly lighter color of brown, due to how much tears she cried out after BeetleGrub left[2]. She has a tail scar, in which its tip was clawed off by Vespid during a fight[1][2].
Personality[]
She is sweet, kind, caring, and taught good manners by BeetleGrub. Her favorite thing to do was poke at little dragonet's snouts and watch them to to nibble on her. She was playful, cheeky, sometimes engaging in mischief, and adorable. She is also very energetic and loves hopping around. Ever since BeetleGrub left, however, she was still happy but significantly less[2]. She was nervous and scared around Vespid, due to his terrible acts towards the young dragonet[2].

BeetleGrub[]
Mosquito dearly loved Beetlegrub, as he was the only dragon who cared for her, other than Antlion. He always gave her treats and toys, and when she lost her favorite leather-bee plushie, BeetleGrub carved a carving of herself and other dragons with a playhouse to make up for it. He always cared for her, and attempted to defend her against Vespid. However, whenever he wasnt home, Vespid would always take the opportunity to attack Mosquito[2]. That is how she had gotten her tail tip clawed off by Vespid[7]. This was when BeetleGrub was gone to go get groceries, since Antlion was sick and sleeping. Vespid often attacked Mosquito, all because he found her annoying and that she wasnt even his sister, since she came from a different father[2]. He often played with her with her toys on the playhouse he made for her.
Vespid[]
Mosquito hated Vespid, and so did he. Every so often, he attacked and harmed Mosquito[2]. Since Antlion wasnt home mostly, he used every chance to hurt her[2]. He enjoyed this greatly, but often was stopped by Beetlegrub. Mosquito though he had an unnatural stillness to him, as if he could lunge at her at any moment, which he usually did[2]. He was the reason why her bee-plushie was lost, but she didnt know that, since BeetleGrub was the only one who knew.
Antlion[]
Antlion didnt care for Mosquito so much[2]. After she was born, she was usually seen moping and slouching due to depression about her former partner[4]. Antlion often yelled at Mosquito when she did something wrong, and she didnt have time to take care of her[2]. She never really protected her from Vespid, as Antlion favors her older son[2]. With Vespid and BeetleGrub gone, the only person she could yell at was Mosquito. She never really cared about Mosquito that much, thus she never enrolled her in school[2]. Eventually, she was given to another family and was much more loved there, with her step-parents Termite and Beetle.
