Batch Delete
If you’re still missing pages from August’s batch delete, please send us a list of your missing pages on the batch delete restoration thread.
We will be changing the batch delete timing to give you all more of an advance notice and to give us more time to work. Under the new schedule, batch deletes will occur on the first Monday of the following months:
April
July
October
January
Each newsletter (sent out in February, June, September, and December—roughly one month prior to each batch delete) will include a notice about the upcoming batch delete, so you’ll all have at least two weeks notice to work on your characters, instead of the current one week.
Maps
We’ve made the decision to restrict map creation to the moderator team, similar to templates and categories. The wiki’s rules have been updated to reflect this. The moderator team will create user subpage maps upon request, but note that due to limitations with Fandom, you can’t use the visual map editor or add them to other pages.
Achievements
Our achievement badges have been a longstanding feature of this wiki. However, many tracks have unclear themes and often use uncredited art. With this in mind, we are working with Lucy (@Cloud of the IceWings) to create new, more thematically relevant badge art.
The category track already has new art, and we’re currently evaluating which others need to be redone. We can’t wait to share the results with you all!
Mod Apprenticeships
With school picking back up, our existing moderator team has had less time to keep an eye on things. In light of this, we're opening up apprenticeship applications for users interested in helping moderate the wiki! Please take a look at how our apprenticeship program works, and make sure you have a clear understanding of our rules.
We're primarily looking for discussions moderators, but you're welcome to apply for content moderator as well. You don't need to join the public Discord server, but you will need a Discord account to communicate with the moderator team.
If you're interested, you can fill out our google form! We'll announce our choices on October 17th.
