It's been a while since our last newsletter! I lumped all the summer months into one newsletter.

Page Purge

This was supposed to happen in May, but we never really got around to it. Now, I know how to delete multiple pages at once, so I can fulfill this!

You have one week and 4 days to make sure your pages are over 1,000 bytes (if you don't want them to be deleted.)

The page purging will begin on Wednesday, August 16th.

To see how many bytes your page has, click the arrow next to the "Edit" button. Click "History". The most recent edit will be at the top. It should say the editor's name, followed by the number of bytes in parenthesis.

Tride Updates

FlameWings + Tribe Contest

First, let's all say goodbye to the FlameWing tribe, owned by ZodiaDragon. It was one of the first fan tribes on the wiki, and a lot of us will be sad to see it go.

This leaves an opening for a new fan tribe! We'll probably host the next contest in November, like in previous years. Better get started on your entries!! Remember to have

• no special subtypes

(As in, no special types of dragons that have different/rare types of powers.)

• a good, strong-worded page
• appearance
• habitat (make sure it's not overlapping with another tribe!)
• relations with other tribes
• government
• culture
• abilities (please only 1-2 abilities. underpowered tribes are more realistic tribes!)
• drawn picture

Royalty Changes

There have been royalty changes in both the TempestWings and DriftWings!! The DriftWing tribe has also been revamped, so please read through the changes.

Also a reminder that the tribe pages do not have basic member listings!! They haven't been kept up to date so they were deleted. The list is only for royalty + special instances.

DeathWing Update

I know this is taking me forever and I'm sorry. I've had a lot on my plate, but I'll try my hardest to get the revamp done. Thank you everyone for being so patient and understanding <3

Promotion/Demotion

The Help:Promotion page has had a few tweaks. We are now opening up Roleplay (Forum) Moderators as a position to apply for!! We've had issue with users following the roleplaying rules (located on our Help:Rules page). Their job will be to crack down on these roleplays and stop the issue from spreading.

• Outclaw was promoted to chat moderator.
• .oOEclipseOo. was demoted from bureaucrat.
• StArchaeopteryx was demoted from administrator.
